A Heart Full of Gratitude: The Thanksgiving Mass of Rev. Fr. Danielle Xenon E. Ngujo, MMSJ
With hearts full of gratitude and reverence, the faithful gathered for the Thanksgiving Mass of Rev. Fr. Danielle Xenon E. Ngujo, MMSJ, newly ordained priest of the Merciful Missionaries of St. Joseph, held on January 16, 2026, at 9:00 AM at the Sanctuary of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Pueblo de Panay, Lawaan, Roxas City. The celebration marked a joyful and sacred return of Fr. Ngujo to the community, as he offered his first Mass of thanksgiving following his ordination to the priesthood.
The church was filled with a profound sense of joy, prayer, and thanksgiving as family members, relatives, friends, fellow religious, parishioners, and devotees came together to witness this milestone in his vocation. Their presence reflected the strong bond between a priest and the community that helped nurture his calling through years of formation, sacrifice, and faithful discernment.
Throughout the liturgy, prayers of praise and gratitude were lifted to God for the gift of Fr. Ngujo’s priesthood and for the many graces received along his journey. The celebration became not only a personal thanksgiving, but also a communal offering—an expression of unity between clergy and laity, joined together in faith and hope for the mission entrusted to him.
As Rev. Fr. Danielle Xenon E. Ngujo, MMSJ begins his ministry, the community entrusts him to the loving guidance of God, praying that he may remain humble in service, steadfast in faith, and joyful in proclaiming the Gospel. May his priestly life be a source of inspiration to the young, a comfort to the suffering, and a living witness to the mercy and love of Christ in the world.
