The Pueblo de Panay employees gathered for a meaningful two-day Advent Recollection as part of their spiritual preparation for the Christmas season, taking time to step away from their daily routines and enter into moments of prayer, silence, and reflection. The recollection began on November 25, 2025, at the Circulo Grand Hall, where the first batch of participants came together in an atmosphere of calm and openness to God’s presence. It continued on November 26, 2025, at the Sanctuary of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, welcoming the second batch of employees to share in the same journey of faith and renewal.

Throughout both days, participants were given the opportunity to reflect deeply on their personal lives, their responsibilities as workers, and their relationship with God. The recollection served as a sacred pause—an invitation to listen more attentively to the voice of God amid the noise and demands of everyday life. In the quiet moments of prayer and guided reflection, many found renewed strength, clarity, and peace as they prepared their hearts for the coming of Christ.

The program was enriched by the inspiring sharing of the Mary’s Platoon Group, whose testimonies highlighted the importance of trust in God, perseverance in times of trial, and faithfulness in prayer. Their reflections resonated strongly with the participants, reminding them that even in ordinary circumstances, God continues to work silently and powerfully in the lives of His people.

A highlight of the recollection was the heartfelt message of Rev. Fr. Lawrence Llona, who emphasized that Advent is not simply a season of waiting, but a time of sincere conversion and spiritual renewal. He encouraged the employees to nurture humility, seek reconciliation, and cultivate gratitude in their daily lives. More than preparing decorations or celebrations, he reminded them that preparing for Christmas means allowing Christ to be born anew in their hearts. Strengthened by these reflections, the participants concluded the two-day recollection with renewed faith, deeper unity among colleagues, and a stronger commitment to live out Christian values in their families, workplaces, and communities.
