Honoring A Life Of Faith And Service: Pro Ecclesia Et Pontifice Award

On November 12, 2025, the community of the Holy Trinity Divine Healing Ministry united in thanksgiving and joy as Lord Nery Joachim Anthony Dioso Ong was formally honored for receiving the Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice Award—one of the highest distinctions bestowed by the Holy See upon lay faithful who have demonstrated outstanding service to the Church and deep fidelity to the Holy Father.

The Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice Award, whose name means “For the Church and the Pope,” is a rare and meaningful recognition granted to individuals whose lives reflect unwavering dedication, moral integrity, and selfless commitment to the mission of the Church. More than a title or medal, it is an acknowledgment of years of faithful service carried out with humility, perseverance, and love for God and His people.

For the Holy Trinity Divine Healing Ministry community, this recognition is a fitting tribute to the life and witness of Lord Nery Joachim Anthony Dioso Ong. Known to many as Brother Dandy, his journey of service has been marked by a quiet but steadfast devotion—one rooted in prayer, compassion, and availability to God’s call. Through his tireless dedication, he has become a channel of God’s grace, touching countless lives through acts of generosity, encouragement, and sincere care for others.

Those who have worked closely with him attest that his service has never been driven by recognition or personal gain, but by a genuine desire to serve the Lord and His Church. His strength is found in humility, his leadership in example, and his influence in the way he inspires others to serve with the same purity of heart. In moments seen and unseen, his faithfulness has borne fruit in the lives of many.

This papal honor also highlights the vital role of the laity in the life of the Church. Brother Dandy’s witness reminds the faithful that holiness is not confined to ordained ministry alone, but is lived out daily through obedience, sacrifice, and love expressed in concrete service. His life stands as a testimony that when one remains rooted in prayer and trust in God, even ordinary acts of service can become extraordinary instruments of grace.

As the community celebrates this milestone, it also lifts its prayers in gratitude to God for the gift of his life and mission. May this recognition serve not only as an affirmation of past service, but also as encouragement to continue walking faithfully in God’s will. May the Sacred Heart of Jesus bless him abundantly with wisdom, strength, good health, and perseverance as he continues to serve with love and humility.

With hearts full of thanksgiving, the Sanctuary community congratulates Lord Nery Joachim Anthony Dioso Ong, lovingly known as Brother Dandy, for this well-deserved honor. May his life continue to inspire many to live a faith that is active in service, steadfast in hope, and deeply rooted in love for God and His Church.
