TURNOVER OF THE SANCTUARY OF THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS TO THE ARCHDIOCESE OF CAPIZ
We are overjoyed to announce a significant milestone in the life of our parish. On June 7, 2024, the Sanctuary of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Pueblo de Panay Township was formally donated to the Archdiocese of Capiz.
Representing Pueblo de Panay, Inc. were Ms. Hariette Ong-Banzon, Mr. Nery Joachim Ong, and Ms. Hyacinth Ong-Viterbo. Receiving the donation on behalf of the Archdiocese was His Excellency, Capiz Archbishop Most Reverend Victor B. Bendico, D.D.
This heartfelt donation is a humble offering of thanksgiving to God for all the blessings He has poured upon our community. It marks not only the physical turnover of a sacred space but also a deep spiritual entrustment to the care of the local Church.
