The Feast of St. Joseph, Husband of Mary, was a truly blessed and grace-filled celebration at the Sanctuary of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, where the faithful gathered in unity and devotion to honor the man chosen by God to be the earthly father of Jesus and the protector of the Holy Family. The celebration highlighted the quiet strength, humility, and unwavering faith of St. Joseph — a powerful example for all Christian families today.

The Holy Mass was solemnly presided over by Rev. Fr. Stephen Gonzales, OSJ, with Rev. Fr. Dale Orda and Rev. Fr. Reupert Manuel Garcia concelebrating. Their presence brought deeper significance to the celebration, especially as the Oblates of St. Joseph continue to spread the mission and virtues of their patron. The church was filled with the sound of sacred hymns and the scent of flowers, creating a prayerful and moving atmosphere.

As a sign of devotion, pilgrims, benefactors, and sponsors came forward with reverent hearts to offer flowers to St. Joseph, symbolizing their prayers, petitions, and thanksgiving. The offering was a deeply touching moment — a gesture of surrender and trust in the powerful intercession of St. Joseph, whom many turn to as a protector of homes, workers, and the Church.

This beautiful expression of faith and gratitude reflected the strong devotion of the parishioners and reminded all present of St. Joseph’s silent yet steadfast role in salvation history. The celebration not only honored the life and example of St. Joseph but also inspired families and individuals to imitate his virtues of obedience, diligence, and love for God.

The feast day concluded with a renewed commitment among the faithful to place their lives and families under the protection of St. Joseph, trusting in his care and guidance, especially in these challenging times. It was a joyful and spiritually enriching event, deepening the parish’s devotion to this great and humble saint.
